Mutual Arts Center

Mutual Arts is newly located in Hartwell, a neighborhood of Cincinnati (off I-75 exit 10).
Formerly known as MamLuft&Co. Dance, our organization is now able to establish more services to the community through dance and the arts.

Virtual Offerings

Made possible through private foundation funding, we have developed Get Up, Get Down! Learning Through Dance: online-based lessons and activities designed to develop third grade math and reading Ohio learning standards.

Arts Classes

Recreational Dance Classes

Open studio classes for any person, no matter their level. No auditions required. For adults and for kids throughout the school year, as well as for kids in the summer.


Summer Camp

NEW offerings for pre-schoolers and pre-teens/teens. MORE INFO HERE.


Summer Intensives

Challenging immersive studies for advanced teens and adults.


Facility Rentals

Teach your own class here, have a baby shower, or practice in the studio alone.

Academy Training Program

More serious studies for young dancers. Placement is based on auditions. Two ensembles (youth companies) at the higher levels. Add-ons for weekly time dedicated to skills (such as leaps/jumps, turns, acro/inversions, stretching) available. AUDITIONS FOR THE 21-22 TERM ON AUGUST 7, 2021.


Pre-College Prep for Modern Dance

A wealth of preparation for Modern Dance studies at the university level. Mentoring, mock auditions, juries, solo development, college applications, résumé building, and more.


Solos and Private Lessons

Available for anyone! Certain Academy levels can perform solos at the recital.

Satellite Programs

We love to go out into the community and bring more dance and art throughout the 52 neighborhoods: in fact, that’s solely how we operated up until 2020!

If you’re interested in creating a satellite program at your institution, please contact us.

North Avondale Montessori and other CPS schools

Since the pandemic began, we have not been allowed to return to schools, yet, but please encourage your principal to resume or create programs with us starting fall of 2022!

Classes in Clifton with Walk-Over from Fairview Clifton German Language School and CANS

We hold classes inside the Every Nation Church (a Clifton Cultural Arts Center satellite) just across the street from FCGLS and CANS. We can pick-up your kids immediately after school for classes starting at 4:00pm. READ MORE HERE.

Dance for Adults

DANCE CLASSES FOR ADULTS are offered at various levels in varying techniques.

Auditions are NOT required, however Company Class is very advanced and is not appropriate for all dancers.



Classes for all ages

Classes are grouped by grade going into 20-21 school year

No audition required: just sign up!

Abilities may be mixed within a class

Can take as few or as many classes as you’d like!

2 classes in a family: 10% off tuition, 3 classes: 15% off, 4 classes: 20% off


Modern, Hip Hop, and Ballet/Creative Movement

No audition required: just sign up!

Abilities may be mixed within a class

Can take as few or as many classes as you’d like!


For kids and youth seeking a more disciplined and rigorous environment

More advanced classes with higher expectations

Requires placement audition

Levels II and III/IV will have ensembles (youth companies)

Each level has a required collection of classes

Supplemental options (turns, leaps/jumps, acro) are optional, but may be advised to improve weaknesses

Pre-College Preparatory

For dancers interested in majoring in dance or becoming a professional dancer

Specifically prepares youth for study in Modern Dance, along with supporting techniques to gain admissions

Meets 2 Saturdays a month with BFA and MFA graduates.

Program benefits/activities include:
Assistance with college application essay and other counseling (including recommendations and introductions to various universities).
Includes group work/feedback on college application solo. (Private lesson add-on optional.)
Audition skills and mock auditions with feedback from university faculty members.
Senior showcase (live and video) to present graduating seniors to university scholarship and admissions.
