Every time someone steps into our studios or sits down for a performance, your support helps connect them to a globally-celebrated art form that would not survive in Cincinnati without you. But, we are struggling.

Sadly, it is not an exaggeration to say that our nonprofit and the genre are at real risk of disappearing from Cincinnati.

The nonprofit funding landscape — especially as it relates to the arts — has tightened dramatically, resulting in more-than-usual declined proposals and painful shifts in our budgets. The impact is immediate: for the first time in many years, we cannot run our school residencies that would have served 25 classrooms across multiple Title I schools.

These losses don’t reflect a decline in our work: they reflect an uncertain funding landscape. Your support is now the deciding factor in whether our organization — and this genre — remains present.
